Karen G. Deane, CPA has 20 years of diverse accounting and financial experience attached to her designation of Certified Public Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brooklyn College, NY. Her extensive and diverse accounting background was accomplished through senior accountant and management roles held at various private and public companies.  Karen is dedicated to helping her clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical and sound tax and financial processes.  She is committed to delivering audit, tax and financial services that meet each client’s unique objective.

Karen has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting, audit, consulting and tax preparation services.  Her accomplished and extensive public, private industry and non-profit experiences are valuable in understanding, addressing and providing solutions to the challenges companies and individuals face today.

Among other affiliations, she is a member of the NABA and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where she is involved in several committees, including the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Real Estate and Personal Financial Planning. Karen is a founding member of the South Georgetown Secondary School Alumnae Association. She sits on the executive board as the Treasurer, utilizing her skills and expertise to provide clear and concise financial accountability and tax filings for SGSSAA.  In keeping with the goals and mission of the organization, Karen participates in the majority of fund-raising activities hosted by the organization.  She has been both instrumentally and strategically involved in the process of obtaining the organization’s 501(C) (3) status in 2013, and filing and obtaining SGSSAA’s Exempt organization certificate.

During her free time, Karen enjoys dancing, playing tennis, and spending time with family.
